Ken Gamble appointed as Associate of The African Center for Cyberlaw and Cybercrime Prevention (ACCP)

GII Executive Director, Ken Gamble, has been appointed as an Associate of The African Center for Cyberlaw and Cybercrime Prevention (ACCP). The ACCP is an entrepreneurial non-profit organisation with a mission to understand the Internet; to study its development, dynamics, norms, and standards in Africa; to assess the need for, or lack of, laws and sanctions, and to enhance knowledge about fraudulent online strategies commonly used by criminals in exploiting people.

GII expands operations into the Philippines - Manila office opens

May 2010 - GII has announced the appointment of retired Police Chief, Superintendent Jovie A. Gutierrez, Jr CSP as the GII Chief Consultant of the Philippines.

Gen. Gutierrez is a holder of a Masters Degree in Science of Criminology, a Major in Law Enforcement and is a Licensed Security Consultant. He brings to GII more than 35 years of security-related services.

Kidnapped British girl re-united with her mother

Missing British two-year-old girl, A'ishah Sabra, was reunited with her mother yesterday in Egypt after Egyptian Police detained her father, Saber Mesbah Sabra, and ordered him to hand over the child. A'ishah's 32-year-old mother, Leila Sabra from Whitefield, is ecstatic to be reunited with her daughter after an eight month investigation and legal battle.
